The holiday season is always a special time at our homes, and 2025 was no exception. Across our communities, residents, families, staff, and partners came together to celebrate with creativity, generosity, and heartfelt connection. From festive gatherings to meaningful surprises, the spirit of the season shone brightly in every corner.

Across Forest Hill, Garden Terrace, Willows Estate, West Lake Terrace, Bear Creek Terrace, and Kentwood Park, residents enjoyed a wide range of festive activities and thoughtful traditions. This year’s celebrations included:

  • Mini horse holiday photo sessions
  • Snowball‑themed games and cookie decorating
  • Seasonal crafts and winter‑themed gatherings
  • Musical performances, including live carols from the Sound Jam Octet
  • A visit from the Kanata Blazers U11 hockey team for games, crafts, and intergenerational fun
  • Secret Santa and Giving Tree initiatives ensuring every resident received a gift
  • Christmas Day visits from Santa and his elves
  • Annual Christmas Pancake Breakfast at Forest Hill
  • A festive Christmas Party at West Lake Terrace with treats, music, and holiday photos
  • A community‑wide McDonald’s lunch at Kentwood Park, generously gifted by a resident

These activities and moments of connection helped create a warm, joyful atmosphere throughout the season.
