Construction Update: Progress at Riverview Manor & Presqu’île Place

Omni Quality Living is excited to share the latest construction progress at two major redevelopment sites: the Riverview Manor Redevelopment in Peterborough and Presqu’île Place in Brighton. Both projects continue to advance on schedule, bringing us closer to delivering modern, resident‑centered long‑term care communities designed for comfort, efficiency, and enhanced clinical support.

Riverview Manor Redevelopment – January Update

Construction at the 160,000 sq. ft. Riverview Manor Redevelopment continues at a strong pace, with substantial progress on the building envelope, interior systems, and structural framing.

Exterior & Building Envelope

  • Windows are installed and exterior waterproofing is complete in Division 1.
  • Division 5 has reached a major exterior milestone with cladding fully installed and first‑floor windows in place.
  • Brickwork is advancing across the site:
    • Divisions 3 and 4 have started first‑floor brickwork.
    • Brick installation is ongoing in Division 3.
    • Division 2 has completed first‑floor brickwork.
    • Additional masonry continues in Divisions 2 and 3.

The building’s exterior is steadily taking shape, supporting upcoming interior finishing work.

Mechanical & Electrical Work

Mechanical and electrical teams are making strong progress throughout the first floor and upper levels:

  • The electrical mock‑up is complete.
  • P3000 electrical boxes have been installed in Division 1.
  • Mechanical rough‑ins and framing are underway across Divisions 1, 2, 4, and 5—including corridor work.

These installations form the essential infrastructure for resident comfort, safety, and operational efficiency.

Structural & Interior Progress

Significant structural work has moved forward:

  • Second‑floor framing has begun in Division 1.
  • Third‑floor concrete topping in Division 1 has been successfully poured.
  • Roof work continues, including installation of mechanical dog houses that will house key ventilation and mechanical equipment.

Site Civil & Systems

  • The main canopy structure installation is underway.
  • Service piping continues to advance as the project progresses through the Contract Administration phase.

Presqu’île Place, Brighton – December/January Update

Construction at Presqu’île Place remains on schedule toward its planned May 2027 occupancy. Work through December 2025 and early January 2026 has brought several key milestones across foundation, structural, and upper‑level preparation.

Foundation & Structural Progress

  • Major concrete and foundation work is well underway, with active pouring in both the basement and ground‑floor areas.
  • Structural framing is progressing steadily, including ongoing work on upper‑level walls and steel installations.
  • The building’s form will become increasingly visible early this year as framing continues to rise.

Upcoming Milestone: Precast Installation

As of January 8, 2026, crews will start the precast installation for the second floor, progressing upward toward the fifth floor in Wings A and B. This marks a significant vertical‑construction milestone that will shape the full profile of the building in the coming months.

Looking Ahead Across Both Sites

Both the Riverview Manor Redevelopment and Presqu’île Place are advancing according to schedule, with major structural, mechanical, and exterior milestones achieved over the past months. As each project progresses, Omni Quality Living moves closer to delivering modern, thoughtfully designed long‑term care environments that prioritize resident comfort, clinical excellence, and community connection.

More updates to come as work continues on both sites.
