Omni Quality Living Officially Welcomes Five APANS Health Services Residences to the Omni Family

Peterborough, ON – October 2, 2025 – Omni Quality Living (“Omni”), a leader in long-term care and retirement living across Ontario and New Brunswick, is pleased to announce the official transition of ownership and integration of five long-term care residences previously managed under APANS Health Services.

Building on Omni’s July 4, 2024 announcement, this transition marks a significant milestone as Copper Terrace (138 beds, Chatham), Grace Villa (184 beds, Hamilton), Middlesex Terrace (105 beds, Delaware), Park Lane Terrace (132 beds, Paris), and Richmond Terrace (128 beds, Amherstburg) become fully integrated into the Omni family. This acquisition expands Omni’s reach, capacity, and commitment to exceptional care.

Omni has managed these five residences for just over a year, collectively serving 687 residents—a significant increase compared to Omni’s previous capacity and balancing Omni’s presence across Southwestern Ontario as of July 2024. The official transition further strengthens Omni’s ability to serve more communities, while upholding the highest standards of respect, safety, and compassion.

“We are incredibly honoured and excited to officially welcome Copper Terrace, Grace Villa, Middlesex Terrace, Park Lane Terrace, and Richmond Terrace—and their dedicated teams—into the Omni family,” said Raheem Hirji, President & CEO of Omni Quality Living. “Over the past year, our values and culture have united these communities in delivering exceptional care to hundreds of residents. This official transition allows us to continue building on a shared legacy of compassion, innovation, and resident-centered excellence.”

“Welcoming these homes into the Omni umbrella marks an important milestone in continuing to strengthen our commitment to long-term care across the province,” said Michael Doner, Managing Director at the Hillcore Group. “The strong foundation of dedicated care within each home, combined with Omni’s experience and resources, ensures we can continue delivering exceptional service and meaningful impact for residents, families and team members.”

Omni extends a warm welcome to all residents, families, and team members who are now part of the Omni Quality Living journey. The organization remains committed to outstanding support and to integrating the rich traditions and expertise that made APANS Health Services a respected name in long-term care.
