Construction Update: March 2026

Construction continues to advance steadily at both Presqu’ile Place and Riverview Manor, with significant progress made across structural, exterior, and interior phases. As these projects move forward, the transformation on each site is becoming more and more visible.

At Presqu’ile Place, the building structure is progressing at different stages across the various wings, creating strong momentum as crews work upward. The lower-level basement is nearing completion, with framing and mechanical and electrical rough-ins almost fully wrapped up. The mechanical room has also been prepared and is ready to receive permanent equipment. On the upper floors—levels two through five—teams are actively working with concrete, precast materials, and structural steel, adding height and definition to the building. Around the exterior, waterproofing and sealing are well underway, helping protect the structure as finishing stages begin. Windows are scheduled for installation shortly, followed by brickwork that will begin shaping the final look of the façade. Site work, including grading and exterior area preparation, is expected to begin in late March or early April as spring conditions settle in.

Riverview Manor is also moving quickly, having reached a major milestone with the superstructure now fully complete. Exterior progress is strong, with waterproofing finished in Divisions 1 through 4 and underway in Division 5. Exterior cladding and siding have begun in Divisions 1 and 2, and insulation work continues across all divisions. Windows are now installed throughout the entire building, and masonry has been completed in Divisions 1 through 4, with the final division nearing completion. Inside, framing has wrapped up on the first and second floors and is ongoing on the third floor. Electrical rough-ins are steadily progressing on the first floor and have recently begun on the second. Mechanical rough-ins continue across all divisions on the first floor, while the sprinkler system is being roughed in on the third floor. Topping has been poured on all levels except for the fourth floor and roof of Division 4. With temporary heat now operating throughout the building, interior work has been able to continue without interruption despite winter conditions.

Both Presqu’ile Place and Riverview Manor are entering an exciting phase where the vision of each project is becoming more tangible. With exterior finishes beginning, interior systems advancing, and site work soon to begin, the coming weeks will bring even more visible progress.
