A Swinging Success: Omni Golf Tournament at Lindsay Golf & Country Club

On June 5, we teed off for a fantastic day at the beautiful Lindsay Golf & Country Club, bringing together nearly 100 golfers, including 50 valued Omni team members and 50 of our top-notch vendors and business partners. The day was filled with camaraderie, friendly competition, and a shared commitment to giving back.

Before heading out, participants had the opportunity to warm up alongside a Golf Pro on the driving range, picking up helpful tips and pointers to elevate their game. The excitement continued out on the course, where the Golf Pro also hosted a lively “Beat the Pro” challenge on one of the holes—a favourite feature that brought out everyone’s competitive spirit.

At Hole 9, our Gold partner EpicLTC captured memorable team photos, giving participants a chance to commemorate the day with their colleagues and partners. While not every group was able to be photographed due to the event wrapping up early, the snapshots we did capture reflect the great energy and spirit of the day.

While the enthusiasm never waned, we did have to call the day before all golfers could complete the full 18 holes. Despite this, the atmosphere remained positive, and the day was still a tremendous success. Golfers enjoyed a variety of friendly competitions throughout the event, including Longest Drive (Men’s & Women’s), Closest to the Pin (Men’s & Women’s), Best Score, Most Honest, and Beat the Pro, ensuring something fun for every skill level.

Fundraising was at the heart of the event. Raffle tickets were sold at $20 for an arm’s length, with all proceeds supporting The Hope Fund. The 50/50 draw added another exciting element, with the winner sharing their prize with a charity of their choice.

Established in 2015, The Hope Fund supports Omni employees facing financial hardship due to emergencies, illness, or unexpected life events. It is a meaningful way we come together to support one another when it matters most. We raised $3,260 for the Hope Fund at Friday’s Golf Tournament through Raffles and 50/50 Draw.
