Peterborough, Ontario / November 27, 2025 — Omni Quality Living (“Omni”), a leader in long-term care and retirement living across Ontario and New Brunswick, is proud to announce an exciting growth milestone in its continued commitment to providing exceptional care to its residents and communities: the redevelopment completion and opening of Country Terrace, in Komoka, Ontario.

This project represents Omni’s dedication to creating modern, comfortable, and resident-centered homes that enhance quality of life and strengthen community connections.

Transforming Country Terrace: A Three-Phase Redevelopment Journey

Omni broke ground on a three-phase redevelopment and new construction project at Country Terrace in Komoka, Ontario. The goal was to expand capacity, modernize infrastructure, and create more welcoming, engaging spaces for residents, staff, and families.

The redevelopment, addition of beds, and modernized infrastructure is a true testament of Omni’s commitment to compassion, quality of life, and dignity for every resident. Country Terrace will continue to be a place where residents are cared for, valued and respected.” said Mayor Aina DeViet.

The final phase, completed in September 2025, brought the total capacity to 128 beds (76 private and 52 standard). Omni received occupancy approval for this phase in October 2025, marking the full completion of the project.

On November 26, 2025, Omni hosted a Grand Opening Celebration at Country Terrace, welcoming residents, families, staff, and community partners to commemorate the successful completion of this major redevelopment and expansion project.

Continuing a Legacy of Excellence in Care

By expanding the capacity of these residences, Omni is continuing to contribute to the Province of Ontario’s commitment to building 58,000 new and upgraded long-term care beds across the province. Together, these milestones highlight Omni’s dedication to creating modern, supportive, and inclusive environments where residents can live with comfort, dignity, and purpose.
