At Omni Quality Living, we make a daily commitment to uplifting the people whose compassion defines our communities. One way Omni proudly lives this value is through ongoing support for the Senior Living CaRES Fund, a national initiative dedicated to helping frontline senior living professionals pursue education, growth, and opportunity.​

Empowering Those Who Care Most

The Senior Living CaRES Fund was created to recognize and empower team members working in Canada’s long-term care and retirement sectors. Through financial support and mentorship, it helps staff enhance their skills, expand their career paths, and continue providing exceptional care to seniors.

This summer, the fund received applications for their Champions of Senior Living Bursary; a $2,500 award designed specifically for frontline employees in senior living homes. Bursary recipients also receive mentorship from a seasoned industry leader, helping them develop both personally and professionally.​

Eligibility focused on employees who had demonstrated dedication to seniors’ care for at least three months and were either enrolled in—or planning to pursue—further education by September 2025. Applications ran from July 7 to July 31, with promotional support from Omni across all social platforms to ensure staff had the opportunity to apply and benefit.​

Celebrating a Champion in Senior Living

Omni Quality Living is proud to celebrate Alioune, one of just 20 recipients nationwide to receive the 2025 Champions of Senior Living Bursary from the Senior Living CaRES Fund. This honour recognizes Alioune’s dedication as a frontline care team member and supports her ongoing education and professional growth.
