At Omni, we know that care extends far beyond the walls of our homes. This Family Caregiver Month, we want to recognize and thank the family members and loved ones who continue to play such an important role in the lives of our residents. 

When a loved one moves into long-term care, a family’s role may change, but their importance never does. Families bring a lifetime of memories, stories and personal knowledge that help our teams understand each resident as an individual. 

They know the little things that make their loved one smile. They know their favourite songs, foods, hobbies and stories. By sharing these memories and staying involved, family caregivers become valued partners in creating meaningful, person-centered care at Omni. 

Sometimes, their impact comes through advocacy and helping communicate their loved one’s wishes. Other times, it is simply through a visit, a phone call, a shared meal, or a familiar face at the door. 

These moments may seem small, but they can mean so much. 

This Family Caregiver Month, everyone at Omni simply wants to say thank you. 

Thank you for the visits, stories, conversations, and countless moments shared. Thank you for advocating for your loved ones and working alongside our teams to help make each day brighter.
