Construction Update: Riverview Manor and Presqu’ile Place

Construction continued to move steadily forward at both Riverview Manor and Presqu’ile Place throughout April, with meaningful progress across exterior work, building systems, and interior construction milestones.

Riverview Manor

At Riverview Manor, the building superstructure is now complete, marking a major project milestone. Exterior cladding and waterproofing are finished in Divisions 1 through 4, with work continuing in Division 5. Exterior insulation remains ongoing across all divisions, and window installation has been completed throughout the building. Exterior siding has begun in Divisions 1 and 2, while masonry work is complete in Divisions 1 through 4 and ongoing in Division 5. Balcony concrete has also been poured.

Interior work continues to advance across all floors. Framing is complete on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors in all divisions, with framing underway on the 4th floor. Electrical and mechanical rough-ins are progressing on the 1st floor and have begun on the 2nd floor, while sprinkler rough-ins are ongoing on the 4th floor. Concrete topping is complete on all levels, staircases are installed throughout the building with railing installation underway, and drywall installation has begun on the 1st floor.

Presqu’ile Place

Construction at Presqu’ile Place also saw steady progress in April. In the lower-level basement, drywall installation has started, and key electrical infrastructure—including the electrical room panel, switchboard, and transformer—has been installed. Mechanical ductwork is beginning in the basement and on the 2nd level, supporting upcoming mechanical system work.

Exterior waterproofing and sealing around the building are ongoing, and windows have been delivered and are ready for installation. Wings A and B are expected to be watertight by the end of May, with roof installation targeted for early May.

In Wings C and D, hollow core slab installation is ongoing, followed by concrete topping. Core drilling has begun, and underground plumbing work is set to commence, advancing both structural and servicing components of the build.

Looking Ahead

As we move into the coming months, both projects will continue to progress through key exterior and interior phases, including roofing, weatherproofing, system installations, and interior finishing work. We look forward to sharing further updates as Riverview Manor and Presquile Place continue to take shape.
