Garden Terrace: Oktoberfest Fun

At Garden Terrace, residents and team members came together for a cheerful Oktoberfest celebration under sunny skies. Laughter and lively music filled the room as everyone enjoyed hearty sausages with tangy sauerkraut, crunchy pretzels, and ice-cold near beer. The afternoon was a wonderful reminder that the best moments are often shared over good food and great company.

Streamway Villa: A Scenic Fall Adventure

Streamway Villa residents soaked up the beauty of Ontario’s fall colours on a bus trip to the Big Apple in Colborne. The day was full of smiles, sweet treats, and plenty of “wow” moments as they admired the breathtaking scenery along the way. It was a joyful day spent exploring, reminiscing, and enjoying the simple pleasure of being out in nature together.

Forest Hill: Diwali—A Celebration of Light and Culture

At Forest Hill, the Festival of Lights brought warmth and colour to the community. Life Enrichment Aide, Mridula Singh, led the way in organizing a beautiful Diwali celebration, complete with traditional music, food, and dance. PSWs Rinkalben Patel and Mikita Prajapati performed stunning traditional dances, while residents delighted in samosas and gulab jamun. The event was a shining example of how sharing culture brings people closer, lighting up both hearts and rooms.

Moncton Residence: Creativity in Full Colour

At our Moncton Residence, residents rolled up their sleeves for a series of festive fall activities. From painting and crafting pumpkins to peeling corn for supper, the community truly embraced the season’s hands-on charm. Thanksgiving celebrations brought everyone together in gratitude and creativity, making for a warm and meaningful autumn.
