A Fresh Start at Village Green in Greater Napanee
There is something meaningful about a new beginning, especially when it creates a better home for our residents. This spring, Omni Quality Living marked an important milestone as 47 existing residents moved into the new Village Green, a newly built long-term care home in Greater Napanee, Ontario that will soon house a total of 128 residents.
After many years in Selby, the move represented more than a change of address. It was an opportunity to welcome residents into a modern, thoughtfully designed space that supports comfort, connection, and quality care, while staying close to the community they know.
The move took place over three days, from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29, with support from Health Care Relocations (HCR), a team experienced in senior and healthcare relocations. All residents moved together during this time, helping maintain a strong sense of familiarity and community from the start.

In the weeks that followed, Village Green began welcoming new residents at a steady pace, with approximately 14 individuals moving each week through to mid-May. This approach allows staff to provide thoughtful, personalized support as each new resident settles in.
Located just a short distance from the previous home on Pleasant Drive in Selby, the new residence on Drive In Road in Napanee keeps residents connected to familiar surroundings while offering a purpose-built environment designed with their needs in mind.
Village Green was brought to life through the collaboration of Bourgon Construction and G Architects, with spaces designed to feel welcoming, accessible, and supportive of everyday living.
With newly hired and trained staff in place, residents are supported by a team committed to providing consistent, high-quality care from day one.
Village Green represents a fresh chapter for residents, families, and team members. It is a place designed not just for care, but for living well and feeling at home in Greater Napanee.
