Pricing

How does pricing work in Ontario?

In Ontario, the Ministry of Long-term care sets daily and monthly rates for all types of accommodations annually, including the rates at Omni residences. Families are advised in writing if there are any rate changes coming into effect. Please contact the residence you are interested in for more information.

How does pricing work in New Brunswick?

Our New Brunswick residences offer a range of different levels of care from Independent Living (L1), Assisted Living (L2) and Memory Care (L3). The Department of Social Development for Long-Term Care assesses a prospect’s level of care and looks at income to determine if there is a level of subsidy. There are a few options for payment. If the resident isn’t paying it all out of their own pocket, they have been assessed through Social Development and will be subsidized in accordance to their income. Please contact the residence you are interested in for more information.

No person in need of care will go without it

In Ontario, if a resident has insufficient income to cover the standard cost for a ward bed, a rate reduction can be requested. You’ll need to provide documents supporting this claim, such as a Notice of Assessment to be considered. Please contact the HCCSS for more information. Rate subsidies are not available for semi-private or private rooms.

The Ontario government offers financial assistance programs to citizens aged 65 years and over. For more information please contact:
