Wildwood Care Centre offers long-term care and retirement living options. Located in a quiet and convenient residential area within close proximity to parks, community centres, shopping centres, and medical facilities, our residence provides a welcoming environment. 

Our Philosophy 

At Wildwood Care Centre, we strive to foster a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel right at home.

Residence Features: 

  • Single-level home with modern décor 
  • 60 long-term care beds (private, semi-private, and basic) 
  • 24 retirement home beds (private and semi-private) 
  • Located within minutes of a hospital and other emergency services 

Amenities & Services: 

  • 24-hour supervised care by registered staff 
  • Access to facilities offering additional medical care 
  • Whirlpool baths 
  • Assisted daily living 
  • Special accommodations for individuals with additional dietary requirements 
  • On-site beauty salon 
  • Physiotherapy services provided by Achieva Health 
  • Routine physician visits as well as weekly visits by their nurse practitioner 
  • Supported by the Gwyneth and Donald Metcalfe Memorial Fund: all travel costs associated with social activities are free for residents 
  • Partnerships for dental, hearing, mobility needs, lab services, mobile X-ray imaging, specialized nursing, foot care, and hair care services 

Health and Wellness Programs: 

  • Supervised care by registered staff 
  • Passive motion exercise 
  • Individualized care for residents with Alzheimer’s or dementia 
  • Physiotherapy with an on-site physiotherapist weekly and a physiotherapy assistant daily 
  • Supportive Measures Specialist offering ongoing support to team members and residents 
  • Behavioral Supports Ontario (BSO) with a mobile team in partnership with the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance 

Social and Recreational Activities: 

  • Active social and recreational program 
  • Outdoor travel activities including picnics, tours, and dinner events on our own Mobility Bus 
  • Invitation for families and friends to participate and even run activity programs in the home
