THE RESPONSIBILITIES 

As an RPN at Omni Quality Living, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Training, supervising, and assisting in the evaluation of the performance of non-registered nursing staff with guidance from the Director of Care and RN. 
  • Dispensing medications and providing direct nursing care and treatments in accordance with policies, procedures, and instructions from the Director of Care and RN. 
  • Monitoring the provision of resident care by all staff, ensuring it aligns with the physician’s orders and the established care plan. You will promptly address any deficiencies and instruct personnel in the correct procedures. 
  • Establishing clear communication with medical personnel, other healthcare specialists, managers, staff from other departments, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care officials, social workers, clergy, residents, family members, and coworkers to ensure continuity and quality nursing care. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

To be considered for this position, you will need the following qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required) 
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License (required) 
  • Good Standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) 
  • Valid CPR Certification
