Engines, Entertainment, and Community Spirit at Omni’s Spectacular Car Show Event!

This summer, Omni’s Moncton and Mapleton Residences revved up the community spirit with a spectacular car show event that was more than just a display of classic and modern vehicles. It was a day filled with fun, music, and meaningful community engagement, all while supporting important local causes.

Our successful event was made possible through strong partnerships with local organizations and businesses. We proudly raised $1,000 for Hospice SE NB, an organization that provides compassionate care in our community. The Shriners took the lead in organizing the show cars and wrapped up the event with a delightful performance, zipping around in their signature tiny cars. Generous donations for our raffle came from local supporters including Moncton Honda, SHS Auto & Truck Care, Air Cab Taxi, Precision Dent Repair, and Atlantic Auto Parts Resource.

The air was filled with the lively tunes of Joe n’ the Juice, adding a fantastic soundtrack to the day’s activities. Meanwhile, Aviya and her team led a charity BBQ, serving up delicious treats that kept everyone fueled and ready to enjoy the festivities.

The event showcased a fantastic display of community and cooperation. Local residents and businesses rallied together to support a meaningful cause and enjoy a day filled with festivities. Our residents delighted in the nostalgic experience provided by the classic cars, while our dedicated staff ensured that the event was enjoyable for attendees of all ages.

True to our inclusive values, the event catered to every generation. Bizzy Bee Entertainment was on site with a bouncy castle and face painting, ensuring that the little ones had just as much fun as the adults. The Ice Cream Barn was a hit, providing sweet treats that were the cherry on top of a perfect day.

Aligned with our commitment to the five dimensions of wellness, the car show provided holistic benefits:

  • Social Wellbeing: From reminiscing about old cars to singing along with the band, attendees connected over shared experiences.
  • Emotional and Cognitive Wellbeing: Residents and guests alike strolled down memory lane, sharing stories and recalling the history of the vintage vehicles.
  • Physical Wellbeing: Guests of all ages stayed active, exploring the various displays and enjoying the outdoor activities.

The car show was a celebration of community, heritage, and wellness. We’re thankful to everyone who participated and helped make the day a resounding success. We look forward to more events that bring together fun, community support, and wellness in such a dynamic way.
