Every May, National Nursing Week gives us the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the critical role nurses play in delivering compassionate, expert care to individuals and communities across the country. This year, Nurses Week 2025 ran from May 6 to 12, with the theme “Nurses: The Heartbeat of Health Care.” It’s a fitting tribute to the dedication, resilience, and leadership nurses bring to healthcare every single day.

This year’s theme acknowledges not only the essential contributions of nurses at the bedside, but also their role as advocates, educators, and leaders across every area of the healthcare system. It’s about recognizing that nurses are the pulse of quality care, steadfast in their commitment to supporting others, even in the most challenging circumstances.

At Omni Quality Living, we are proud to honour our nurses who embody this theme every day. Across our 28 residences, our nursing teams provide more than medical support, they deliver comfort, guidance, and a sense of security to our residents and their families. Whether they’re responding to complex medical needs or simply offering a quiet moment of kindness, our nurses represent the best of Omni’s mission: to provide care with integrity, compassion, and respect.
