  • Long-term Care

Types of care and services provided: Long-term care, and specialized care for individuals who have dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

Maplewood is situated in the picturesque town of Brighton, Ontario—or as some call it, “the heart of apple country.” Accredited by Accreditation Canada, our modern, single-level home was designed with residents’ comfort in mind. The layout throughout our community is wide and accommodating, and both private and shared bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms. Visitors are welcomed to join our residents on our patio, where they can revel in the beauty of nature and enjoy the flowers and herbs from our horticultural program.

We love to come up with new ways to help our residents feel a strong sense of belonging. In doing so, we create several opportunities for people within our local community to get involved, such as volunteering at our summer barbecues, birthday celebrations, musical programs and holiday dinners. Some of our planned excursions include visits to Presqu’ile Park, social events hosted by the Eighth Wing Squadron in Trenton, and regular luncheons at the best dining spots in town.
