  • Long-term Care

Types of care and services provided: Long-term care, and specialized care for individuals who have dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

Situated in the heart of Kanata, our home was built to meet the most current standards for long-term care communities in Ontario. Garden Terrace is best known for its stunning courtyard design concept, which makes all residents and visitors feel right at home.

The main foyer of the building is a warm, inviting space, which features a wood-trimmed lobby and fireplace. The room is lined by windows which overlooks the lush greenery from our courtyard, which includes outdoor seating and assorted flower gardens.

A natural path is integrated into the layout of the building to gently guide residents back to their destination. It also showcases points of interest to help encourage social interaction while residents feel a sense of independence and purposeful mobility. What’s special about the design and architectural themes of Garden Terrace is that it incorporates memory triggers to help guide residents.
