Construction Updates: Riverview, Presqu’ile Place, & Seaforth

Construction continues to move forward across three of Omni’s newest communities, with meaningful progress being made at every stage, from early site development to interior finishing work. Teams remain focused on maintaining momentum and reaching key milestones as each project advances toward completion.

At Riverview Manor in Peterborough, significant progress has been achieved both inside and outside the building. The exterior envelope is now substantially complete, with cladding, waterproofing, insulation, windows, masonry, roofing, curbs and gutters all finished. Major site infrastructure milestones have also been reached, including completion of the hydro vault installation and pylon sign foundations, while site servicing, roadway construction, utility connections, and sign lighting coordination continue to advance.
Inside the building, work is progressing steadily across all levels. Boarding, drywall installation, taping, plastering, painting, and ceiling installation activities continue throughout the residence, while mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins advance on the upper floors. Sprinkler rough-ins and stair installations are complete, and railings continue to be installed. Resident room mock-ups are taking shape, with flooring, millwork, plumbing fixtures, and lighting installations completed, providing a clear vision of the future living spaces. Overall, construction remains on track, supported by the completion of several key milestones and continued progress on interior finishes and building systems.

At Presqu’ile Place in Brighton, construction continues to focus on advancing both exterior and interior work. Exterior curbs have been completed, roofing is substantially finished, and siding and masonry activities remain ongoing. Inside the building, drywall taping, mudding, priming, and first-coat painting are substantially complete on Levels 2 and 3, while finish work continues to progress throughout the upper floors.

Building systems are also moving forward, with fan coil units now on site and installation underway. Kitchen exhaust hoods have been installed, and work continues on the mechanical and electrical systems throughout the residence. The project remains focused on completing interior finishes and preparing the building for the next stages of construction.
At Seaforth Long Term Care, the project remains in the early phases of construction, with site preparation and foundation activities well underway. Crews are currently forming concrete footings, installing reinforcing steel for the building foundation and structural columns, and advancing underground watermain work across the site. Backfilling has been completed in the northwest portion of the property, marking another important step in site development. Temporary power has also been installed, providing critical support for ongoing construction activities as the project continues to take shape.
Together, these projects represent important investments in the future of senior living, with each community reaching significant milestones on its journey toward welcoming residents and creating spaces designed for comfort, care, and connection.
Stay tuned for our November update!
